A photogenic one! - Geoff Taylor

Hi. I'm Doreen Taylor. I love reading and writing. I have studied widely within the field of literature, history and heritage and feel that I have learned much. I enjoy poetry and have written several poems. I have a BA in English Studies, a BSc in Environment and Heritage Studies and an MLitt in Highlands and Islands Literature.

My background is Further and Higher Education and I'm very much looking forward to my new start as a Topic Editor with Suite 101 and hope to "meet" other writers during my sojourn into freelance writing.

I work part time at an Arts Centre, usually doing specific tasks such as proofreading and editing and also the odd data input when it's required. I'm not averse to doing the washing up and tidying up after a class if that's required, either! I am also a semi-professional singer in a women's acapella group that goes from strength to strength.

Life is good. Life is interesting and I really enjoy reading and editing the articles that come my way.

All the best.
